50 Paces

You Deserve to Branch Out Today

Most of us live our lives in a bubble and end up being terribly sheltered.  We surround ourselves with our jobs, our friends, and our errands and don’t normally branch outside of those 50 paces or more.  This is fine for many, but if you’re in the business world or want to expand your horizons, it creates a limiting situation and a parochial view of the world.

Even without having money to travel, it is possible to expand those horizons.   For instance, you can order magazines that offer a look at various places in the country and world.  Books are also a great way to open up to the world outside and to get a feel for different cultures, locations and people.

Certainly, if you have the money, travel is a wonderful way to experience the world beyond your 50 paces and to see things for yourself.  If you don’t have the money for travel, perhaps you can live vicariously through someone you know who does travel.

If you’re in a business, it’s quite important to open yourself up to possibilities and mind sets beyond your limited environment.  This is true if you’re in finance, any type of product sales and other business ventures.
